With the upcoming release of Dragon Quest 11 later this month in Japan, it sounds like Square Enix’s plan is to inundate us with new media of the game until it’s all we see every day. As a result, here’s almost 45 minutes of gameplay footage from the game, for the PS4 and Nintendo 3DS versions both.

As you will see when you see these videos, both the 3DS and PS4 versions, while playing very differently, do seem to follow the same story beats overall. For a fan of the series, however, both of these versions will be essential.

Dragon Quest 11 is due out on the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation 4 later this month in Japan, with a Nintendo Switch version announced for a later release. As of right now, none of these three versions is confirmed for a release in the west. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information on the game, however.
