The legendary Japanese RPG franchise is about to hit the Switch with the latest enhanced re-release, Dragon Quest 11 S. The game has a lot of added content to the original release that hit the PS4 and PC last year. Since then, we’ve gotten a lot of different videos and screenshots highlighting the new material, and today we get a new trailer that does that for both, new and old stuff.

In the trailer released by Nintendo (who is publishing the title outside of Japan), we get an introduction to the world of Erdrea. It mixes a bit of the old, such as the setting and characters, with some of the new, such as the new costumes and mounts. If you’re not familiar with the game, it’s a good introduction of what to expect. If you are, well, hopefully it tickles your nostalgia bone a little in anticipation for the new release.

The game has gone gold, and Dragon Quest 11 S will release for the Switch on September 27th.
