Following complaints of Dragon’s Dogma 2’s performance at launch, Capcom has released a new update for PC and PS5. It improves the quality of DLSS Super Resolution on PC while fixing an “issue related to the display of models under some specific settings.” As for PS5 players, there are now options to turn Motion Blur and Ray Tracing on or off. They can also lock the frame rate to 30 FPS.

It’s worth noting that the options “won’t affect frame rate significantly” and that improvements are coming in future updates. Furthermore, Xbox Series X/S players can expect the patch in the next few days.

Other quality-of-life changes include changing the number of Art of Metamorphosis items (used for resetting one’s appearance) in Pawn Guilds to 99. A quest that provides a dwelling for players to acquire is also available earlier in the game. Finally, if you want to start a New Game despite already having save data, the option is available.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our review here.
