A new video for upcoming open-world action RPG Dragon’s Dogma 2 showcases one of the game’s Vocations, namely the Trickster Vocation. The video, courtesy of IGN, breaks down how the Trickster Vocation works, and how it makes use of its different abilities to control the battlefield. Check it out below.

The Trickster’s gameplay style has been described as incredibly unique, especially in the realm of open-world action games. The Vocation uses a Censer as its weapon, which doesn’t really do much in the way of direct damage in a fight. Rather, the Censer allows the Trickster to draw the attention of enemies.

Players can then make use of skills to manipulate the enemies that are focused on the Trickster. A number of the Trickster’s abilities revolve around fooling enemies with fake walls and floors, and even a fake clone of the player that draws the enemies’ attention.

Other abilities of the Trickster revolve around buffing the Pawns in their party, as well as debuffing and confusing enemies by summoning illusions of massive dragons to scare them.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is slated for release on March 22, and will be coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Capcom recently revealed that the game will support Nvidia RTX features, such as DLSS and ray tracing. Additionally, another recent video also revealed details on four more Vocations that will be available in the game. Check it out through here.
