Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen Gameplay Trailer: Laying the Medieval Smackdown

New gameplay trailer gets rough and rowdy with battles.

Capcom has released a new trailer for the upcoming expansion Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. The trailer provides a look at the game world and the enemies you’ll be fighting. It also showcases said enemies being fought. A lot. Like, seriously, this is Fight Club without the rules.

Dark Arisen is interesting because it won’t be released (at least, as of now) as standalone DLC; it will include the original Dragon’s Dogma with it, and seek to add several improvements to the original game such as the option of Japanese VOs.

There will also be a Speed Run option, a new difficulty mode, new bosses and tons more content to augment the overall experience – a lot of which is still to be revealed. Let’s see if it justifies the full retail price fans will have to fork over for it.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will release sometime this year for Xbox 360 and PS3.
