Dreamfall Chapters Gets Director’s Cut, New “Tweaking Zoe” Video

More content. More information. More Dreamfall.

Red Thread Games’ upcoming Dreamfall Chapters, which will continue the saga established in The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, will be receiving a Director’s Cut when the game releases.

This is thanks to the developer passing well beyond the needed goal for funding, which was $850,000, to garner roughly $1.5 million. One of the stretch goals for that case was the Director’s Cut, which adds more content to the game and provides more information on the game’s development.

Of course, the $2 million stretch goal meant that the team would begin working on the second game, The Longest Journey Home, which hasn’t been reached. Thankfully, it looks they’ll find a way to make it happen regardless.

Read Thread Games has also released a new video showcasing the process of tweaking Zoe’s face, so that she resembles her appearance from Dreamfall all the better. Check it out above. Dreamfall Chapters is currently slated to release on PC.
