Dreams Creator Beta Extended to February 4th

Media Molecule has also confirmed when the new waves for beta entry will be going live.

Posted By | On 17th, Jan. 2019

Media Molecule had opened sign-ups for its Dreams Creator beta earlier this month, and today, it has finally offered an update about the same. On top of thanking those currently in the beta for the content created, it also announced when the next waves for beta entry would take place. The first wave goes out on January 17th for the United States and Europe. January 21st will see codes sent to remaining European sign-ups, and January 23rd is date that remaining US sign-ups will receive codes.

The developer noted that the number of sign-ups was more than expected. While it wasn’t initially ready to accommodate so many people, it’s currently working to ensure everyone who signed up can get in. If that weren’t enough, the Creator beta has been extended by two weeks, and will now end on February 4th, as opposed to January 21st.

Dreams is currently in development for the PlayStation 4. While a proper release date hasn’t been announced, it’s expected sometime in 2019. The Creator beta will serve as the first step towards that process, so stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
