DualShock 4 Controller (Sort of) Works on PlayStation 3

You won't be able to use it wirelessly, unfortunately.

If you can’t get in on the PlayStation 4 craze when the console launches but want to finally be rid of the DualShock 3 controller, then you’ll be able to use the DualShock 4 on your PlayStation 3. A new video released showcases how this is possible, which you can check out above.

There are a few issues though: You won’t be able to connect the controller wirelessly, and considering that some games like FIFA 14 need a wireless controller, it’s definitely limited. Even then, there are only a few compatible games, a list of which is yet to be revealed. Urban Trial Freestyle seems to work well enough though, if the video is any indication.

The PlayStation 4 will be launching on November 15th in North America and November 29th in Europe. Will you be picking up the console at launch or will you settle for the DualShock 4 controller and the PlayStation 3? Let us know in the comments below.
