Dying Light 2 Stay Human Kicks off The Walking Dead Event with Daily Challenges and Rewards

The Dying Light 2 Stay Human event celebrating The Walking Dead is live now, and will go on until August 2.

Developer Techland is celebrating the 20th anniversary of comic series The Walking Dead with a new event in Dying Light 2 Stay Human. As part of the event, players can take on 7 daily challenges to unlock rewards, as well as comic book covers. Check out the trailer for the Dying Light 2 Stay HumanThe Walking Dead event below.

The event kicked off on July 26, and is slated to go on until August 2. During the event, players will have to take on various daily challenges, like killing 50 bandits or renegades with blunt weapons, or killing 120 infected with explosives.

Completing every daily challenge by the end of the event unlocks a weapon charm—The Walking Dead Memento. The event also has a weekly personal goal of killing 850 enemies, completing which unlocks the Lucille weapon, as well as its blueprint. A global goal of killing 160,000,000 enemies during the event will reward all players with a Sheriff’s Hat.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. For more details, check out our review of the game.
