Dying Light E3 2014 Trailer is Full of Combat, Bullet-Time and Explosions

How does combat work in the night? Find out here.

Apparently, Techland’s Dying Light isn’t just about free running and parkouring away from the vicious undead creatures that rule the day (and night). A new E3 2014 trailer from the developer showcases some of the combat elements in the game including the weapons you can use, attacks that can be executed, firearms, grappling hooks and even bullet-time. Check it out above.

Of course, you can defend yourself in the dark as well, which is when Dying Light’s zombies became stronger and more intelligent, but the lack of visibility is certainly a hindrance. It’s an interesting new way to look at the game since we had expected a mostly movement-based experience till now.

Dying Light will be out in 2015 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. It will be at E3 2014 and we assume playable on the showroom floor so look out for that and tell us what you think of the latest trailer in the comments.
