"DLC #0" coming soon and will add new enemies.

Techland’s Dying Light did very well on release and despite the game’s problems, it’s received a great amount of support in the form of free DLCs, a revamped end-game system and a meaty expansion called The Following. The developer had announced that it would be releasing free DLC for the open world zombie survival title in the next 12 months and it’s provided a few teases as to what they will contain.

To start with, we have the upcoming “DLC #0” which will add some new enemies. This update isn’t part of the 10 free DLCs but will arrive soon and offer a taste of what’s to come. Producer Tymon Smektala notes that the upcoming free DLC will bring new in-game events, new enemies and “much, much more”. Which has us excited of course.

Of course, the reason why Techland is supporting the game is simple – it still attracts 500,000 active users each week. When you consider the game is three years old, that’s no small feat. Mods, constant update, co-op and much more have obviously helped in this regard.
