Dying Light: New Trailer Wishes You “Good Night, Good Luck”

Outlast - and outrun - the Infected.

Techland, developed of Dead Island: Riptide and the upcoming Hellraid, has released a new trailer for their upcoming survival horror Dying Light. Whereas most other survival horror games emphasize psychological horror or hiding, Dying Light encourages you to run and don’t stop. As part of a world over-run by Infected, you’ll need to scavenge for supplies, craft tools and weapons to defend yourself, and most importantly, keep an eye out on the sun.

Because when it goes down, that’s when the Infected become stronger, as they prowl the night and actively hunt you. It’s an interesting formula that reminds us a lot of 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later, except there’s no place to hide from the Infected here. So as the tagline goes: “Good Night, Good Luck”.

The key is the irony.

Dying Light is set to release in 2014 for all major current gen consoles, including Xbox 360 and PS3, PC and next gen consoles like PS4 and Xbox One.
