Dying Light The Beast

Grinding XP to level up fast is the name of the game in Dying Light: The Beast. All that precious XP can then be put towards unlocking skill points to greatly improve Kyle Crane’s effectiveness in his zombie-slaying spree.

This guide has everything you need to know to quickly and efficiently farm XP in Dying Light: The Beast.

Explorer Armor Set

Get a hold of this gear set for an XP gain of 2% per piece, which will go a long way over the course of your adventure. Look up Doug over at the Town Hall.

Volatile Chases

Volatiles are an excellent source of XP, earning you as much as 500 per takedown. Dangerous as they are, it can help to have some kind of advantage on your side. The UV wards at the Town Hall can serve you well in this regard, as it weakens them and staves off their attacks.

Simply venture forth at night in search of a Volatile, then lure it back home once the chase is initiated. Night time brings an additional advantage in the form of the natural bonus to XP.

Night Time Forays

In general, you should complete most tasks at night, especially if you know that there is a large chunk of XP to be gained from it. This double XP bonus applies to everything including missions, Safe Spot unlocks, and Dark Zone exploration.

Feel free to perform reconnaissance in the daytime in order to take advantage of the greater visibility, but then follow through on definite sources for XP during the dark hours.

Side Questing

In between story quests, when you may be locked out temporarily from progressing due to level restrictions, be sure to take on even the most innocuous side quests as their XP rewards are often quite large.

Those are all the best ways to grind XP fast in Dying Light: The Beast.
