Dynasty Warriors: Two New Fighters Join the Fray, New Screenshots Revealed

The war of the Three Kingdoms rages on.

There is a seemingly never ending war going on in the Dynasty Warriors series between the Wu, Shu and Jin kingdoms – the Three Kingdoms of Chinese lore – but as long as it makes for big beat ‘em ups, who cares? Tecmo Koei Europe has announced that the upcoming Dynasty Warriors 8 will see two new fighters join the Wu kingdom with Lu Su and Han Dang.

While Lu is described as a reliable guy, who functions as a governor-general and all-round caring diplomat winning the trust of his people, Han Dang is the wily veteran who isn’t afraid to quickly decimate his opponents. Though he’s supposedly a nice guy, so there’s that.

Along with details on the new warriors, there are also a bevy of new screenshots that showcase – what else? – lots of fighting and crowd control.

Dynasty Warriors 8 will be releasing on PS3 and Xbox 360 comes July 12th 2013.
