E3 2012: Ubisoft Unveil Watch Dogs, a new IP that’s incredible

Posted By | On 04th, Jun. 2012

Update: It’s headed for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, Ubisoft has confirmed.

No platforms listed yet for Ubisoft’s new IP titled Watchdog, but it was one the most amazing thing I have ever seen at a press conference. This could be a next-gen title, mind you, and you can check out the gameplay video below.

Not much information has been revealed by Ubisoft, other than the fact that we think it looks like a modded GTA and is pretty incredible. Their website has gone live here, and there are a bunch of screenshots which we have posted here for your viewing pleasure.

The Youtube description for Watchdog says, “A glimpse at the future with the first game demo video of Watch Dogs”. That’s next gen, folks! It has to be. There’s no way this is running on PS3/360. No way.

Here’s the trailer though, so you can check it out for yourself.

And one more screenshot.
