Indie developer Ascendant Studio unveiled its debut project Immortals of Aveum at The Game Awards in December, and though its reveal trailer was a fairly brief one, it did still turn a few heads. Set to be published under the EA Originals label, Immortals of Aveum is being led by the creative director of the likes of Dead Space, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and more, and is promising a single player fantasy FPS campaign.

When exactly will it be out though? Well, apparently, it’s not too far away. According to prominent leaker @billbul_kun on Twitter, Immortals of Aveum will launch on July 20. While that might seem a bit too soon for a game that we have seen next to no gameplay footage of, it’s worth pointing out that developer Ascendant Studios recently confirmed that new details on its debut title will be shared “very soon”.

Immortals of Aveum is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming days and weeks.
