EA’s Star Wars Titles Confirmed for Star Wars Celebration Event

In what form remains to be seen.

Much like Star Wars Battlefront in 2015, you can expect Electronic Arts’ Star Wars games to have some kind of presence at the upcoming Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida. The event takes place from April 13th to 16th and EA’s presence was confirmed by Lucasfilm which said that the publisher would “showcase the latest on their Star Wars projects.”

That could mean that Star Wars Battlefront 2 is showcased since it’s the one we’ve heard the most about. That’s not to mention it’s out in Fall 2017.

Other titles currently in development include Visceral Games’ Star Wars title led by Amy Hennig of Uncharted fame and Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment’s third person action title. It’s highly likely that updates are offered on the latter two without any real gameplay footage.

Then again, if DICE follows the same formula as it did for Star Wars Battlefront, we could see an “announcement” trailer at the Star Wars Celebration followed by actual gameplay at E3 2017. What are your thoughts? Let us know below.
