Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware have released a new overview trailer for Elden Ring. The immensely hyped action RPG is out later this week so this helps to explain what the entire game is about to new players. Of course, there’s plenty for fans that have been waiting for years to see as well.

Along with new spells, weapons and armor, we also get a look at some new areas, the various characters that players will encounter (including a large disembodied hand akin to the Wallmasters from The Legend of Zelda). Players must venture through The Lands Between to challenge the former heroes of the world and ultimately ascend to the rank of Elden Lord. It’s a task that’s way easier said than done.

Elden Ring releases on February 25th for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox One. For more details on its requirements for PC, head here. You can also check out some of the things that we can’t wait to do in the game here.
