There’s been a lot of back and forth rumors about Elden Ring, especially following the trailer leak from an older build. The latest states that the game probably won’t make an appearance at E3 2021. Insider Omnipotent, who’s known for teasing FromSoftware titles before their official trailers, has seemingly teased a reveal for the dark fantasy action RPG.

Over on ResetEra, the user posted a picture with Solaire from Dark Souls doing the famous “Praise the Sun” pose, the Elden Ring symbol, the “Humanity Restored” notification and Micolash from Bloodborne in the background looking excited. This is all in a rear-view mirror with the words “Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.” On being questioned about whether it means anything or not, Omnipotent responded, “I had this image specially commissioned (Thanks again LoreHunter), its not a s**tpost.”

On being told that it had a Bloodborne 2 reference, they simply responded, “Behave thineself.” Overall, the meme picture seems to add up to an Elden Ring reveal being closer than many expect with Solaire and Micolash being suitably hyped. Of course, it doesn’t mention whether that reveal will be taking place at E3 2021 or anytime soon. Again, “closer than they appear” can be very subjective.

Stay tuned for details in the meantime. Elden Ring is currently in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
