Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

It was nearly a year ago that FromSoftware and Bandai Namco announced Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, and excitement for the expansion has continued to grow exponentially since then, even though we haven’t seen anything of it so far. That, however, is set to change soon, with its first trailer right around the corner, as reports have suggested for some time.

Taking to Twitter, FromSoftware has announced that the first trailer for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will be premiering soon, on February 21, at 3 PM UTC, which is roughly 15 hours from now. The trailer will be three minutes long, the developer has said, which means you can expect a meaty look at the expansion and what it will have to offer.

Whether or not a release date will be announced remains to be seen. Though FromSoftware said not too long ago that the expansion was still a ways off from launch, there have been indications that it could launch in February itself (or sometime in the near future, at any rate). Whether or not that happens remains to be seen, but presumably, we’ll know one way or the other soon enough.
