Epic Games Announces Battle Breakers: Tactical RPG for Mobile, PC Out in 2017

Assemble a squad of elite heroes.

With the Game Developers Conference taking place this week, Epic Games took the opportunity to announce Battle Breakers, a tactical RPG built on Unreal Engine 4 that will be heading to mobiles and PC. Cross-platform play will be supported and a demo will be showcased at Google GDC Developer Day.

Currently available via soft launch in the Philippines, Battle Breakers allows you to recruit several hundreds of heroes to create a squad. You can then take your army across the world to battle space monsters, upgrading your heroes in the process, finding hidden treasures and reclaiming the world.

Donald Mustard, Worldwide Creative Director at Epic Games, stated that, “The team at Epic had this crazy idea that if we combined our passion for zany 80’s Saturday morning cartoons with our obsession for tactical turn-based RPGs, we might just create something awesome and unique.

“If you’re anything like us you’ll be humming the Battle Breakers theme and grinning from ear to ear as you battle your way to victory.”
