SuperData has another report on Digital games for March, and Fortnite had quite an epic month according to the data gathered by them. According to SuperData, Epic Game’s Fortnite has now taken the crown for largest Free-to-Play Console title of all time, both within revenue generated and active users.
Over the course of the previous month, Fortnite earned a truly grand total of $223 Million dollars across all platforms, which is a 72% increase over February. The game also bested its closest rival, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in both revenue and player base.
SuperData believes that Drake, the John Wick Skin and Season 3 Battlepass all contributed to the insane growth seen by the title. The title also saw the highest conversion rate of any free-to-play titles on PC, coming in fifth on their PC Free-To-Play Chart. It also remains the number one selling game on iOS in the States.
