Eternal Strands

Eternal Strands, an action-adventure title that mixes towering bosses with emergent gameplay and a fantasy world, has received a new trailer outlining its mechanics. Director Mike Laidlaw walks through a typical quest, with players selecting one from the base camp (where they can interact with other Weavers), customize gear, and venture to the Enclave. Check it out below.

With the Mantle, players can climb and interact with anything, manipulating elements and the environment to defeat enemies. Of course, foes like the Ark of the Stricken Earth construct require much more to topple. If you’re not well-equipped, returning to base camp without losing loot and crafting upgrades can provide an edge.

However, no two fights against a boss are the same because they roam the world. This means you can fight the Ark in different weather conditions or unique environments, which could present new advantages. Mount it and harness Strands to unlock new abilities.

Eternal Strands launches in early 2025 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
