Focus Home Interactive and Tindalos Interactive have released a new trailer for upcoming sci-fi strategy title Etherium which shows the Human faction fighting the Vectides and Intary for control over the resource etherium. Check it out above.

The game will take place across seven planets and you’ll be able to choose whichever faction you’d like. You’re also free to decide how to progress in the campaign. You can choose to wage open war or simply expand your colonies and increase your resources. Tech trees will be available for new units and upgrades, along with new structures to further unlock special skills. If that weren’t enough, a dynamic weather system has you dealing with sandstorms or using frozen rivers to flank your foes. There will be plenty of diversity in the environments to affect your progress so be prepared.

Etherium is slated to release this year for PC. Stay tuned for more details.
