Ever Forward

Pathea Games is best known for its Harvest Moon-style sim My Time at Portia but it’s prepared something different for its next game. Ever Forward is an adventure puzzle game which focuses on Maya, a young girl who awakens in a surreal world and must regain her memories. Check out the first trailer below.

Ever Forward’s puzzles rely on observing one’s environment and the developer has worked for over three years to come up with some challenging stuff. Puzzles have multiple solutions though and players can traverse the landscape to find memory fragments to open up new areas. Though movement seems fairly straightforward, eventually other mechanics like stealth, gravity and even teleportation will come into play.

Ever Forward is currently in development for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. It will release this May and, unlike My Time at Portia, will launch in full as opposed to early access. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
