Update: Capcom has confirmed that Exoprimal will also be coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. Check out the new developer overview here to learn more about the game.

Original Story:

Capcom kicked off the PlayStation State of Play with the announcement of Exoprimal, a brand new IP that sees combatants in exo-suits called Exofighters battling against hordes of dinosaurs. It’s coming to PS4 and PS5 in 2023. Check out the debut trailer below.

Set in the far flung future of 2043, the world is seemingly suffering from outbreaks of dinosaurs who fall from the skies through strange portals. Along with Velociraptors, players must contend with Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus Rexes. A variety of Exofighters are available, whether it’s a giant shield that can hold off hordes of dinosaurs or a close quarters combatant that slices and dices them apart.

As you probably realized by now, Exoprimal supports co-op. PlayStation Plus is required for playing online though whether cross-gen multiplayer is supported or not remains to be seen. Stay tuned for more announcements and reveals from the latest State of Play presentation.
