Fable Legends

Lionhead Studios’ multiplayer co-op RPG Fable Legends will be holding a closed beta test for which the developer is now accepting applications. If you head to the game’s website, you’ll be able to sign up. Simply provide your email address with verification and log in using your Xbox Live account. You’ll also have to sign an NDA. That means you can’t talk about anything you experience in the closed beta.

The closed beta will begin on October 16th so you can expect some more details shortly after signing up. For those who don’t know, Fable Legends plays a lot like an action RPG variant of D&D. That is to say that you’ll team up with three players and fight co-operatively throughout the game. Meanwhile, a fifth player functioning as a sort of “dungeon master” will manipulate the areas in an attempt to stack the odds against players.

Fable Legends will be out in 2015 for the Xbox One but stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
