Fable Legends

In the gaming segment of their Windows 10 event today, Microsoft announced that their upcoming asymmetric take on Fable for the Xbox One, Fable Legends, will be coming to PCs as well. What’s more, they confirmed, the game will also support cross platform play with the Xbox One version.

For all of you tech junkies out there, who obsess over the minutiae of the tech powering your games, it might also interest you to know that Fable Legends will be built entirely using DirectX 12 (which might explain why the game, widely expected to have launched last year in at least some capacity, has remained MIA so far).

Unfortunately, Microsoft neglected to mention whether or not the game will also be available to PCs not running Windows 10- i.e., will it be available to you if you are using Windows 7 or 8?

Even if it isn’t, it’s not like it actually matters, since Microsoft has announced a free upgrade to Windows 10 for you anyway. Still, it’s something to keep in mind.
