Fable Legends Dev Planning “Something Pretty Cool” for Next Week

New character incoming? Release date announcement incoming?

Fable Legends

Gamescom will begin today with Microsoft holding a presser and revealing its share of upcoming releases like Crackdown, Scalebound and Quantum Break for the Xbox One. However, Lionhead Studios, developer of Fable Legends, seems to have something planned as well.

The studio recently posted the above teaser image and stated that, “For those not going to Gamescom, we’ve got something pretty cool coming your way next week as well…”

“As well” indicates that Fable Legends will have something interesting happening at Gamescom that’s separate from simply being playable for attendees. Perhaps it will be present during Microsoft’s presser. Maybe it finally has a release date? We can get behind that.

In development for Xbox One and PC, Fable Legends is a free to play, co-op action RPG title that has been delayed a good number of times. It will include cross-platform play and come with free post-launch updates. Could the above character be one of them? We’ll find out in the coming week.
