Fall Guys Season 2

Mediatonic had originally planned to release Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S this Summer. However, it’s announced a delay for those versions while also confirming that cross-platform play was in the works. The developer “realized” that its previously announced release schedule was “unfortunately just too soon for us to include all of the tasty new features we’re working on.”

Unfortunately, it didn’t have a new release window to share. Though it wants to launch quickly on Switch and Xbox platforms, it believes that these versions “are really going to be worth waiting for and we’re super grateful for your patience.” This will also provide time to add crossplay to the mix, which should be available by when the Switch and Xbox versions launch.

As for what current players can look forward to, the “heart of the team” continues to work on new content. The Season 4.5 update is incoming and will include two new rounds along with new outfits. More fresh shows are also in the works. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is currently available on PS4 and PC. Mediatonic’s parent company Tonic Games Group was recently acquired by Epic Games.
