Killing Elder Maxson
The tale of Paladin Danse is probably one of the more unfortunate circumstances in Fallout 4. Once you discover he’s a Synth, Danse must either be killed or exiled from the Brotherhood of Steel. However, Tumblr user tentacle-explosion discovered some unused audio files in the game which hint at a different ending, one that would have apparently allowed the player to rise up against the leader Elder Maxson. Not only that but the player could become the leader of the Brotherhood while Danse would swear his allegiance yet again despite being a Synth. It’s a shame we never got this ending in the actual game though.
