Fallout 4’s Bottlecap Glitch Can Be Used Without Depleting Your Ammo

Have your cake and eat it too.

Fallout 4’s bottlecap glitch may be useful, but its usefulness is ultimately limited by the fact that the exploit involves depletion of a lot of your ammo- meaning it’s pretty useless, since even if you do end up being able to afford a lot of the best weapons in the game, you can’t really do much with them, what with you not having ammunition for them.

However, a brand new workaround, discovered by Tweaktown, apparently makes it possible for players to maximize their bottlecaps using this glitch without losing their ammo- essentially, now you can have your cake and eat it too. Since bottlecaps are definitely hard to come by in Fallout 4, this glitch should now be actually helpful- it’ll definitely enhance your enjoyment of the Commonwealth.

So yeah, go on and buy those Legendary weapons- what’s more, you can actually use them now, since you won’t lose all your ammo in the process. Huzzah!
