Fallout 76 Bug is Breaking Legendary Armor Attributes

But the issue doesn't seem to be consistent for all players.

A nasty bug is going around in Bethesda’s Fallout 76 after the developer’s recent update. According to users on Reddit, reloading a weapon can reduce the effects of Legendary Armor. Not only that but some are reporting their weapons and armor to be deteriorating faster as well.

As Jas Thompson showcased in the video below, total damage and energy resistance values drop when reloading a rifle (though individual values remain the same). The problem is that the issue doesn’t seem to be happening to everyone. Some players are reporting their weapons and armor to be fine while others say otherwise.

Some are speculating that this has to do with the new update that made it so that weapons with “+250 damage resistance while reloading” no longer overwrite that weapon’s primary Legendary stat. Others are claiming that this isn’t the case. Again, what’s causing the issue is still up in the air but it’s yet another in a series of major bugs introduced since the game’s launch.
