Batman Arkham Asylum: The game’s combat originally played like something out of Guitar Hero.
Believe it or not, Batman’s combat was going to played out like Guitar Hero and we are so, so thankful that it didn’t pan out that way. At one point in the game’s progress the game would go into a 2D perspective where the player had to fight somebody, where you had to time your blows as colored circles crashed into one another. It is an interesting concept no doubt, but I like the combo feature better, otherwise I wouldn’t take the game seriously.
