Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon First Screenshots Are Trippy

Like, enter the dragon, man.

Some new screenshots have been unveiled for the upcoming downloadable title based on Ubisoft’s popular first person shooter. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is positively trippy – aside from being an FPS, there looks to be nothing in common with the jungle-hopping adventures of the console release.

Though Ubisoft had launched the first teaser for the game on April 1st, it was quickly assumed that it was an April Fool’s Day joke. This was accentuated by a teaser site that offered little clarification and even sold merchandise like it was a movie. The Terminator like effects and 80’s retro style presentation didn’t help matters.

However, due to earlier listings that had come up, it was revealed that Blood Dragon was indeed a real game. What’s more, it will most likely be coming to multiple platforms via digital online platforms like Xbox Live, PSN and Steam. Stay tuned for more details on just what the game is.
