Remedy Entertainment is trying something new with FBC: Firebreak, offering a co-op multiplayer experience (that too without any FOMO) instead of a single-player narrative-focused title. While it previously confirmed that its system requirements would be lower than Alan Wake 2, PC players can still expect several high-end features.
WCCF Tech’s preview notes that this includes full ray tracing (aka Path Tracing) and support for the recently announced Nvidia DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation alongside Reflex. However, features like an uncapped frame rate and support for other upscalers like AMD FSR and Intel XeSS remain to be confirmed.
FBC: Firebreak launches this Summer for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC alongside Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium. As first responders for the Federal Bureau of Control, players take on different Jobs in The Oldest House and attempt to pacify threats.
