When EA Sports first announced FIFA 14, it stated in the PR release that the game would be arriving on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and other platforms. Now, many people assumed this to mean next generation consoles like the PS4 and Xbox 720. Because this isn’t the first time that EA has done cross-generational franchises.
Of course, others assumed it just meant PS Vita and Wii U availability. At the very least, the first seems to be somewhat sure. Amazon has a listing for the Vita version, and while it says “currently unavailable”, it was apparently listed earlier as retailing for $39.99. The console versions will be retailing for $59.99 when FIFA 14 releases on September 24th.
FIFA 13 saw a release on just about every major and minor console last year. This includes the Wii, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. It also came out on the Wii U. While EA Sports hasn’t confirmed it, we’re pretty sure that an announcement will be forthcoming soon.
