Microsoft revealed that it would be teaming with EA Sports to bring Xbox One-exclusive content to the developer’s upcoming sports titles. Today, at its pre-Gamescom press briefing, Microsoft revealed that Ultimate Team Legends mode for the upcoming FIFA 14 will be exclusive to the Xbox One. Check out the trailer for same above.
The mode will see legendary players from the sport playing together, and mixing it up with various other dream teams. You’ll be able to combine both current and legendary players for your teams. If the success of Ultimate Team mode for FIFA 14 was any indication, Ultimate Team Legends will start a similar boom for FIFA 14.
Not bad thus far from Microsoft. Stay tuned for more details from Microsoft as Gamescom 2013, along with their upcoming press conference that will be taking place at 10 AM PST. Of course, details on other EA Sports titles will be revealed at 7 AM PST. Developed by EA Canada, FIFA 14 will release on September 24th in North America and September 26th in Europe.
Update: It has been announced that those who pre-order the Xbox One in Europe, they’ll receive FIFA 14 as a free digital download when the console launches.
