FIFA 21 is now available for Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Along with leveraging the consoles’ SSDs for instant loading times, the current-gen versions sport enhanced visuals and features. Check out the launch trailer below to see the game in action.

Some of these new features include LiveLight Rendering, a deferred lighting system for more realistic pitches and stadiums, and PreMatch Live, which provides high quality cinematics prior to each game. Players also look more realistic with strand-based hair rendered with Frostbite, detailed faces and more. For PS5 players, the DualSense’s haptic feedback is utilized for more immersive shots and passes.

FIFA 21 is also available for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. PlayStation and Xbox players can avail of a free upgrade to current-gen platforms until the release of FIFA 22 next year. In the meantime, you can check out our review of the previous-gen version here for more details.
