Final Fantasy 14_ A Requiem for Heroes

The next generation consoles are coming with release date aims at the end of the year with an official unveiling sometime earlier. It’s a bit early to start talking about games for these systems, but today we did get word on one game that will come to at least Sony’s next generation console in the form of a big MMORPG.

At a Fan Gathering in London, Producer Naoki Yoshida said the devs were apparently ‘hard at work’ at a PS5 version of the game. He didn’t go into details beyond that, but the game is seemingly confirmed to be coming to the next Sony system in some form.

Final Fantasy 14 is quite the story. After initially launching to disastrous results, it went through a major rehaul  and has since been updated with various new ongoing content, such as the new NieR crossover, and also come to more and more systems, with a Xbox One version also coming soon. It seems it will continue to survive and thrive well into next gen.
