The Japanese gaming website, Famitsu has just released it most recent charts showing which games are the most wanted by its users. It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 are both in the top 10. What might surprise some people is that Final Fantasy XV is ranked second on the list while Kingdom Hearts 3 is only coming in at eighth. Still when you see some of the big name games that are on the list, it’s impressive that Kingdom Hearts is on the list as high as it is.

Granted, it appears that the Japanese fanbase has a slightly different set of interests than what Americans are interested in. Batman: Arkham Knight and Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain for the PS3 are both near the bottom of the list. Of course, the PS4 version of Phantom Pain is actually one slot ahead of Kingdom Hearts, but it will also be out sooner. It should also be pointed out that fans have known about those games for quite a while now. The list was updated on June 21 and Arkham Knight was just days away from release. On the flipside, Kingdom Hearts 3 was just announced at this year’s E3.

Final Fantasy XV has had a demo out and available for a little while now, and the game recently got a brand new boss to try and take down. Final Fantasy XV is expected later this year while Kingdom Hearts 3 likely won’t be out until sometime in 2016.
