An announcement video of Final Fantasy 15 has leaked pre-E3 onto the internet While the first few seconds of the video might make you think it’s actually Final Fantasy Versus XIII, the second half shows very clearly that it is indeed Final Fantasy XV.
It looks pretty authentic, and we’re sure this will be announced at E3 next week.
Here’s what’s notable though- according to the video, FF 15 is only coming out for the PS3 and Wii U- not the Xbox 360. This is real big news, if it’s true.
To those of you who think this is Final Fantasy Versus 13, it is. It’s the same game, but Square Enix has rebranded it and named it Final Fantasy 15 now.
It’s still not confirmed though- remember, this might well be some elaborate fake, though it seems unlikely that it is. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated.
UPDATE: It is notable, however, that the footage shown in this video is the exact same as the footage in the Final Fantasy Versus XIII January 2012 trailer (given below). Skip to the 6:00 mark, and the footage is the exact same.
