Final Fantasy 15 Comrades

Square-Enix’s multiplayer expansion for Final Fantasy 15, titled “Comrades“, has a release date. It will arrive on October 31st for Xbox One and PS4. The expansion will be available to Final Fantasy 15 Season Pass owners though it can also be purchased separately. Playing online requires an Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus subscription.

Set after Chapter 13 in the main game where Noctis goes missing, players assume the role of a Kingsglaive member with a royal sigil that can use powers taken from the Lucian kings. This allows for different builds as players team together, take on various quests and attempt to take back the kingdom from the forces of darkness.

Interestingly, you can take on single player quests to further power up your online characters. Square Enix noted that characters like Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus will also be playable in the future. Noctis probably won’t be available but that makes sense given the expansion’s setting.
