The first DLC for Final Fantasy 15Episode Gladiolus, is almost out- and so, ahead of its launch next week, Square Enix has today released some new information about the story expansion, which will focus on the most underrated and neglected character from Final Fantasy 15‘s main cast.

The game will apparently let the player visit a brand new area that was previously inaccessible before; the story will be observed from Gladiolus’ perspective, which means the story of the main game can be fleshed out, with gaps in it filled. The battle system has also been redesigned uniquely around Gladiolus’ abilities, which are focused on blocking and counterattacking. Players can get new items that can be carried over into the main game, and two new modes – Score Attack and Final Trial – will be available to the player once they finish the story of the DLC.

All in all, for $5, it seems to be good value. Episode Gladiolus launches on March 28 on Xbox One and PS4.
