Final Fantasy 15

Though Kingdom Hearts III is no longer in the top ten, Square Enix still has a fairly strong hold over Famitsu’s Readers Choice. Final Fantasy 15 still rates as the number one game for April.

It was followed by Wild Arms, whose last game released in 2008, and Romancing SaGa. Square Enix recently announced the development of new SaGa games and despite the relative lack of quality from the franchise in the past decade, it still holds a special place in some Japanese gamers’ hearts.

Suikoden, Bandai Namco’s Tales of series, Resident Evil and SaGa – the last game being Unlimited SaGa followed with Sakura Taisen, Resonance of Fate and The World Ends With You rounding out the top ten. It’s a fairly Square Enix dominated chart for sure, but which game are you looking forward to? Let us know in the comments.

Final Fantasy 15 is currently in development for PS4 and Xbox One. Stay tuned for more details as E3 2014 draws near.
