Final Fantasy 15 Sold More Than 88,000 Digital Copies In Japan Before Holidays

Total Japan sales over one million.

There’s been very little doubt that Final Fantasy 15 has been quite popular since it launched last year. It’s also not surprising that the game was plenty popular in Japan, considering the popularity of the entire franchise there.

A new report by Dualshockers seems to underline just how popular the game has been, especially when it comes to digital downloads. That report shows that more than 88,000 digital downloads had been purchased by Holiday in Japan.

In total, more than one million copies have now been sold in Japan when considering digital and physical copies combined. One has to think that when new DLC lands for Final Fantasy 15, the game is going to be even more popular. There are some things that have fallen a bit short when it comes to living up to what people hoped for the game, but for now it seems as though the game has had quite a bit of success in Japan and the rest of the gaming world.
