Final Fantasy 15 Upcoming Update Lets You Change the Time of the Day

Along with a slew of other updates.

Final Fantasy 15 (1)

Most open world games let you do something or the other to while away the time, and change the time of the day- meditating in The Witcher 3, resting in The Elder Scrolls, sitting by the fire in Zelda, and so on. Somehow, this is something that Final Fantasy 15 has lacked until now, however.

That said, a new update will be fixing that right away. You will be able to “wait” to advance the time of day, so if it’s nightfall, your only option isn’t to sleep (if for whatever reason, you don’t want to cash out your XP). That apart, the update adds several other content additions, as well as features, to the game as well. You can check out the full patch notes below.

Final Fantasy 15 has continued to grow since its initial release, thanks to Square’s excellent post launch support for the game that, in addition to the paid DLC, has also entailed free content and feature updates. It is out now on PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC release inbound.

  • The special content “Festival of Assassins” has ended.
  • The possibility to train with Aranea at depots has been implemented.
  • A wait option to advance the time of day to depots has been implemented.
  • Alessio in Altissia now has new items in its range.
  • The tutorial has been extended by new training sessions.
  • Various bug fixes
