Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 15 may not be at E3 2015 this year (which we’ll honestly believe when we see it) but there will be an update on the current gen action RPG on June 4th. The publisher has announced the next Active Time Report, scheduled for June 4th, will contain “development updates” on the game and feature director Hajime Tabata and global marketing manager Akio Ofuji. The event will be showcased at 6 AM PDT/9 AM EDT on YouTube and Twitch with subtitles.
As of now, the assumption is that the update will focus on Final Fantasy 15: Episode Duscae 2.0, a revamped version of the demo that released with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. The new demo would feature a number of improvements to the camera system and overall gameplay with Square Enix confirming an early June release. Perhaps this event is meant to provide more details on the release of the demo?
Stay tuned for more information on Active Time Report’s Final Fantasy 15 update, including how the demo will be made available to PS4 and Xbox One users.
