Final Fantasy 15

Final Fantasy has always been a series of some extremely nuanced and extensive RPGs, Final Fantasy 13 notwithstanding. So it shouldn’t surprise you, then, that the upcoming Final Fantasy 15 will also be pretty damn long- apparently, the main story alone will take you over 50 hours to complete.

This information came to us courtesy of an interview that the game’s director Hajime Tabata had recently (translated by Siliconera). In this same interview, Tabata also confirmed that the game will have an implementation of airships, a long held series staple, that will make sense within the context of its world. He also confirmed that the game’s resolution will be announced at the March 31 event, which is also when the release date for the game is expected to be announced.

Final Fantasy 15 is releasing on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this year, in what is anticipated to be a worldwide release. A PC version for the game is also expected to be announced.
