Final Fantasy 7 Remake is out in less than a week now, and chances are, you’re already going to be more than familiar with the main players of its story. The likes of Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, and Barret have been at the forefront of conversations about the iconic PS1 original for over two decades now, but if the upcoming remake is going to be your first time experiencing this story, Square Enix have released some short clips to give you brief primers on each of these characters.

Former 1st Class SOLDIER (we’ll see about that) turned mercenary Cloud Strife, martial arts student and AVALANCHE member Tifa Lockhart, flower-peddling magician with mysterious powers Aerith Gainsborough, and and avid Shinra hater and AVALANCHE leader Barret Wallace all get brief introductions in these short new clips released via the game’s official Twitter account. Take a look below.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is out for the PS4 on April 10, but reviews will start going live tomorrow, April 6. The game is going to take up a massive 100 GB of your system’s storage, but Square Enix have explained exactly why that is the case- read more on that through here. Finally, the publisher has also released a meaty new trailer. It’s a little spoiler-y (a lot spoiler-y, actually), but you can check it out through here if you want.
